Giving and Receiving: The Choice is Yours
Yesterday, I had the honor of working the telephone lines for the World Ministry of Prayer, http://www.wmop.org/, (WMOP). "The WMOP is a 24-hour prayer service that offers affirmative prayer to anyone who calls. The purpose is to lovingly remind each person of the love and light of God that is always active in and as their lives".
While serving as a prayer practitioner on the phone, allowing myself to be a clear channel, and giving completely of my SELF, I received the biggest gift possible. In those moments, it clicked. Regardless of any appearance, there is only Love, that there is only God.
There is a line from A Course in Miracles, that states, "The cost of giving is receiving. Either it is a penalty from which you suffer, or the happy purchase of a treasure to hold dear".
If what I give is what I receive, I have to ask myself what am I giving? When I drive pass a group a men hanging out on the corner, do I give thoughts of judgement or thoughts of love? When I look at myself in the mirror, do I give thoughts of criticism or thoughts of love? When I look at the balance in my checkbook, do I give thoughts of lack and limitation or thoughts of love?
That last one was a challenge, especially since my account was in the single digits (I am being real here). I had to remember that I said REGARDLESS OF THE APPEARANCE, I know the Truth. Truth is God is Abundance. Truth is I am a Divine creation of God. Truth is I am a Divine creation of Abundance. That is it.
So, if that's the case, why wasn't my bank account saying ABUNDANCE. I could think of many reasons and yet none of them mattered. Why? Because I know that what I focus on grows. If I focused on all the reasons why the account wasn't abundant, I would just get more reasons and a less than abundant bank account.
(And for all the Bible readers out there, this is just a modern day version of Peter walking on water. He couldn't walk to Jesus when he focused on the waves.) Since what I focus on grows, I decided to focus on Truth.
With all of that said and done:

Today, I choose to live in trust. I focus on Love, God. I focus on the Truth.
Divine Connection
Today I recognized that I am always hardwired to my Source.
This Source, I call God.
God is the Infinite Source and Supply of All
I am always connected to this Infinite Supply.
It is through my awareness and beliefs of this mighty connection, in which I experience my good.
I am hardwired to the Infinite.
No, I am not plugged into God.
Plugs can get knocked out of the circuit sometimes.
I am hardwired.
I have a direct connection.
This connection was made when He created me in His image and likeness.
I am one with the Source of all Good.
Thank you, God for this Divine Connection.
This Source, I call God.
